Across multiple retailers in the US, the Honor 8 is currently offered at a $50 discount that brings the price of the handset to $349.99. That's already a good price given the specs of the handset, but B&H is topping every other retailer out there by throwing in freebies which total at $139.97.
These freebies include a transparent/clear case for the Honor 8, SMH-1000 Professional Field and Studio Monitor Headphones from Senal, as well as a B&H Photo Video Smartphone Photo Bundle.
The B&H Photo bundle includes a 32GB Class 10 UHS-1 microSD card, a tripod, an attachment system, as well as a 46-lumen Xuma Mobile LED Light. Pair this bundle with the Honor 8's dual 12MP primary camera and the end results should be nothing short of impressive.
If this sounds like a good deal to you, make sure to hurry: the offer expires at midnight tonight!
As far as the Honor 8 itself is concerned, this is a phone that made a good impression with us during our review. Its pros include the previously-mentioned 12MP dual camera system on the back, a very fast and accurate fingerprint sensor, a hardware design that's fairly pleasing given the price, as well as a battery that will see most users through the day.
On the downside, the Honor 8 fails to match the performance levels of modern flagship phones while the EMUI implementation of Android is a bit too similar to iOS for hardcore Android fans to even consider it.
