Last week, Samsung dropped its long-awaited Gear IconX earphones via AT&T alongside a refreshed edition of the Gear VR. If you are interested in Sammy's feature-rich earbuds, you can also grab yourself a pair on either black, white or blue through Amazon.
For many, headphones packaged with mobile devices simply don't make the grade. Whether an audiophile or a hardcore fitness fanatic, there are many occasions where spending a few hundred bucks or more for decent audio gear can be justified. Samsung's Gear IconX range has its sights squarely set on the active consumer, and while $199.99 may seem steep given that one could snag a very capable smartphone for that kind of cash, buyers do get quite a bit of bang for their buck.
Packed with Bluetooth, the buds themselves include 4 gigs of storage — enough real estate for up to 1000 tunes. There's a heart-rate sensor baked into the bargain to help users log their cardiovascular system, while the water-resistant design means a sweaty workout in the rain shouldn't cause any lasting damage.
All tied in with Samsung's S Health app, the Gear IconX earbuds can track miles walked, calories burned and other such essential data. Most of the features that would normally require a smartphone or a fitness band to monitor, can be achieved with the IconX earbuds.
Below, you can take a closer look at the Gear IconX earphones in the various colors, and if you'd like to purchase from Amazon, the source link is just below the gallery.
